Fish for Sale: A History of Commercial Fishing on Great Slave Lake
Join us for the opening of the newest exhibit at the PWNHC on Saturday September 27th from 4:00 – 7:00pm in the museum café for complimentary Great Slave Lake fish followed by introductory remarks by Community Curator Fran Hurcomb in the museum auditorium and an outdoor fish fry. In-person interpretation of the exhibit will be available in the adjacent gallery throughout the event.
The exhibit is a partnership with Hay River Heritage Centre and can be visited beginning September 28, 2025, from 10am to 5pm, Tuesdays to Sundays.
