Holiday Hours 

Open statutory holidays, except Christmas and New Year's Day.

Admission 

Admission is free. Donations are welcome.

• The front entrance is equipped with a ramp, handrails, and automatic door buttons
• Seating throughout the galleries
• Spacious hallways and exhibits with wide pathways
• Ramps and handrails in hallways throughout the museum
• Wheelchair-accessible washrooms on the main floor and second floor
• Two wheelchairs for visitor use (available in the lobby)

We are located near downtown Yellowknife on the shores of Frame Lake, near City Hall, the Legislative Assembly building and walking trails. 

Parking at the museum is free.
