Along with the thrill of experiencing the Aurora comes the reward of making your own really good photograph of Nature’s Greatest Light Show.   The City of Yellowknife is pleased to host an aurora photo workshop, led by Yellowknife photographer, author and tour guide Bill Braden. Naka Festival: Aurora Art Workshop and Dene Art Demos

Make your own aurora art! Using simple block-printing techniques, create an image of your choice to remember your Yellowknife experience. This fun activity is easy for any age, and can be simple or complex. Recommended time 1-2 hours to create, carve and print your block, with help from local artists. This free-of-charge drop-in workshop will be held Thursday, March 7th from 3 to 6pm at the Prince of Wales Northern  Heritage Centre
