Rediscovering Caribou Skin Clothing

Two caribou skin outfits representing Inuvialuit and Gwich’in traditions are currently on display in the South Gallery. They were created during two separate clothing reproduction projects led by the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in partnership with NWT community organizations and southern museums to help revive knowledge and excitement about making traditional clothing.
