Jackson Galleries

UBC Law professor Michael Jackson was chair of the Inquiry’s community hearings committee. He extensively documented each of the communities of the Dehcho in his wide-ranging travels.

  • Crosbie Gallery

    These photos were taken by Diana Crosbie, who as manager of media relations for the Berger Inquiry, travelled across the Northwest Territories to document and communicate the hearings to the rest of Canada.

  • Asch Gallery

    In 1976, Dr. Michael Asch was a witness at the Berger Inquiry. Earlier, he and his wife Margaret spent a year in Wrigley taking these photos. He is currently professor emeritus of Anthropology at the University of Alberta and the University of Victoria.
