Artist reception: August 6, 2010 5:00 -8:00 pm in the cafe
Fragments is a collection of quarter life-size bronze sculptures by Yellowknife-born artist Blake Ward. These powerful pieces are dedicated to raising awareness and contributing to the solution of the landmine crisis in developing countries.
Blake will lead brief talks on August 6th at 5:30 pm on the social responsibility of artists and at 7:00 pm on Canada’s involvement in landmine removal.
