Website and Multimedia
The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre established its first website in 1997, which has since gone through four major revisions. In a vast and sparsely populated jurisdiction such as the Northwest Territories, the website has been very effective in making historical resources available beyond the walls of the institution.
The PWNHC is also increasingly incorporating multimedia elements into its physical exhibits, and many displays now feature audio, video and touchscreen computers.
