Community Programs
- Core Funding Contributions for
the Operation of Registered Heritage Centres
Core-funding contributions are made towards the operations of Registered Heritage Centres to organizations included in the Registry of Heritage Centres. This Registry has been designed to include community-based museums, archives and similar heritage facilities. - Cultural Organizations Contributions
This program provides core-funding contributions towards the administration and operation of organizations that undertake the promotion and development of the arts and cultural diversity in the Northwest Territories - Cultural Projects Contributions
Financial assistance is provided for the promotion and preservation of cultural identity and the enhancement of traditional cultures in the NWT, and to ensure that Northwest Territories oral traditions continue to be recorded by funding specific oral traditions projects. - Support to Northern Performers
Financial contributions are provided towards development and promotion of performing arts in the Northwest Territories and for the featuring of Northwest Territories performing artists at local and regional public festivals and events. - Core Funding Contributions for the Operation of Non-Registered Heritage Centres
