Order
Documents contained on this database (including but not limited to, text, audio, photographs, moving images, animation etc.) may be downloaded for the purpose of personal research only. Documents may not be used in a public broadcast or reproduced in published works without the express written permission of the NWT Archives, Culture and Heritage Division, Government of the Northwest Territories. All images and documents must be credited to the NWT Archives Collection (i.e. Busse/NWT Archives/N-1979-052:1234). Images reproduced on web pages can be no larger than 72 dpi and cannot be re-named.
To order items online, please send an email to nwtarchives@learnnet.nt.ca with the item numbers that you want to order along with your contact information and planned usage and an invoice will be sent to you.
Reproduction Price List
Prices do not include GST (federal Goods and Services Tax), which is a 5% surcharge. When paying for orders, add 5% to the total amount of the order. Please note that broadcast, exhibit and publication fees are not included in reproduction fees and must be negotiated with the NWT Archives.
We accept Visa or Cheque or Money Orders but all orders must be pre-paid.
Before ordering images please review some of the conditions that we have had to place on photo orders.
Delivery Time
Rush orders are limited to 10 images
For orders up to 10 images completion 3-6 weeks; larger orders as
workload permits
Publication Fee- Commercial $50 per item
Any order with a turnaround time less than
specified above will be considered a rush order.
Rush orders- Add $10.00 per item
Per image....$10.00; sent electronically, or on CD/DVD if specified at time of ordering.
Normal image size is 3000 pixels across in the larger dimension for rectangular images, or 2400 pixels across for square images. This size is suitable for 8X10 or smaller print. Other sizes can be provided on request, but may take longer. Standard format is JPG. Colour images are RGB, black and white are grayscale. We do not supply prints.
$10.00 per item; Mp3 format sent electronically, or CD if specified at time of ordering.
$20.00 per item; reference-quality copies are produced on DVD.
Broadcast quality duplication is outsourced. The client pays the service provider directly, plus usage fees.
