The Blue Amberol cylinder on the playing cylinder is #5024 The Rocky Road to Dublin - Reel (Violin) A.SISSON / Thomas A. Edison Patd. This phonograph was used in Detah homes into the 1940s.
A jacket made of caribou hide and beaded black velvet with hare fur trim. This jacket is patterned after historic 'chief's coats' that combined the European open front with traditional decorative patterns and materials. It was worn by Tlicho Chief Alexis Arrowmaker at the 1975 Treaty Days celebrations.
A basket of split and coiled spruce root with a fitted lid. Dyed roots make a decorative pattern. The handle is made of moose hide wrapped with spruce root. Collected by Royal Northwest Mounted Police Inspector C.H. West.
